Black Rhino Fuel Storage – by Scott Pashman
The Black Rhino Fuel Storage Tank should be considered when long term
generators or diesel equipment is being utilized on the jobsite. With
a capacity of nearly 600 gallons, it is an OSHA and EPA approved storage
system that facilitates on-site fueling of equipment. We are currently
using the system at the Belmar project. Prior to this tank arriving on
the job, we were serviced four times a week to fuel the generator, forklift,
and crane. Due to the trip charges and fuel surcharges of the supplier,
our cost per gallon averaged over $6.00/gallon. With the Black Rhino
Fuel Storage Tank, we now receive once a month service and are experiencing
closer to $3.00/gallon…that’s approximately $1,500 each
month in savings. If you have any questions regarding orders, please
contact Mike Stuehm at (303) 917-8179.
